Sri Padhaya

Sri Padhaya is a very beautiful place in Sri Lanka.
Sri Padhaya is a fourth highest mountain in Sri Lanka.
Sri Padha routes are Hatton-Nallathanni, Ratnapura-Palabaddala, Kuruwita-Erathna, Murraywatte; Mookuwatte; Malimboda.
The most popular routes are the Hatton-Nallathanni & Ratnapura-Palabaddala.
The mountain is located in the southern reaches of the Central Highlands in the Ratnapura District and Nuwara Eliya district of the Sabaragamuwa Province and Central Province.
Sri Padha is one of the rare places that people of four major religions in the world worship.
The pilgrims’ season to Sri Pada traditionally starts on the full moon of December and ends on the full moon of Vesak, with the crowd increasing during the latter half of the season.
Sri Padha is the holiest and most revered mountain in Sri Lanka.
The range of Samanala Mountains which is honorably illuminated in central uplands is about 2243 meters high.

The feat of climbing to the peak of Sri Padha with a great difficulty suffering from freezing coldness, the attainment of worshiping the sacred foot-print of Lord Buddha.
